2006 Handicap Policy and Information
Hoodkroft Country Club
- All members of the GHIN System are required to post their scores each time they play a round of golf.
- All 9-Hole rounds shall be posted and later combined with a 2ND 9 Hole round by the GHIN computer even though posted at different dates.
- If only 13 holes are played, the player shall post that score by adding par plus any strokes a player receives on the remaining holes.
- THE GOLF COMMITTEE WILL POST ALL AUTHORIZED CLUB TOURNAMENT SCORES.
- Before posting a score, the player shall adjust his or her score. The (ESC) charts for Equitable Score Control adjustment for 18 and 9 holes are attached to GHIN Monitor.
- Correction sheets are available on the bulletin board in the lower level. Fill in sheet provided and leave in marked folder along with the scorecard when required.
- When the committee receives a written question regarding their or another player’s handicap, score, etc., the committee, after review, will provide a timely response to the inquiry.
- Our reference for all Handicap matters will be in accordance with the current USGA Handicap Manual.
- Two or more exceptional (T) scores may have a major impact on your Handicap Index for the Calendar Year.
- 10. Handicap Indexes are updated every two weeks for a total of Thirteen Revisions.
